Hi, I'm Melissa.
I started out my career as a professional musician and music teacher. I loved it! Except⌠it wasnât sustainable, and it wasnât fulfilling my need to make a large-scale impact.
I knew I loved teaching. I loved working with students and being a part of their light bulb moments and forward progress. But I needed to apply those strengths in a different setting.
My own career change process took me 8 years. I got an expensive masterâs degree that left me with more debt than Iâd like to admit and virtually no âreal lifeâ skills. I was a chronic job-hopper (20+ jobs before the age of 30!). And (not surprisingly)âI felt continually confused and frustrated.
Now, as a career coach, my mission is to help make sure YOU donât go through the same thing. I want to help you live out your most intentional, effective, and authentic job search.
When I finally landed in career coaching, my life completely changed. It was the first time I was able to apply my strengths and contribute to something in a way that felt truly valued.
As a career coach and learning designer, I use my unique strengths to gather the best information, simplify it, and package it into actionable, data-informed content that empowers professionals like you to move forward in their careers and achieve their goals.
